You don’t need teaching or professional experience to volunteer. The most important qualification is a genuine interest in helping our students and teachers maximize their potential.
In order to volunteer, you must complete a background check and the clearance process.
We strive to make our school a better place for the students, staff and parents. We help raise money for equipment and supplies, as well as volunteer to help our teachers and school.
Hazel Dell needs lunch buddies! Our program connects community members with students for weekly lunches during the school year. Make a difference in a student’s life by being a positive role model and giving the gift of your time.
Hazel Dell Elementary offers a student store three times per year (just before winter, spring and summer breaks). Students earn PAWsitives for their behavior and for achieving academic and social goals. These PAWsitives are used to purchase toys, games and other items donated to the school by our community partners and family members. We need at least four volunteers each day the store is open to sort donated items. Contact Connie Sherrard or Mychael Irwin for more information.
